Mickey Mouse & Mo

Last week, Livie and I were able to tag along with Brad while he went to California for work. Our first few days there, Livie and I cruised around Long Beach while Brad was at work. As you can see, she loved soaking up the warm weather. When I took this picture, she actually appeared to be having a conversation with herself~

After a day of playing in the sun and the pool, Livie wanted to text her friends and tell them how much fun she was having...and that she gets to go to Disneyland!

Livie didn't quite know what to think about Disneyland. So many new sights and sounds...and so many funny hats~

After being in the park for only 1 1/2 hours, this princess needed a nap. Sensory overload I guess~

She couldn't keep her eyes off the castle, even when a bunch of crazy Australians were trying to get her to look at the camera~

You can see that Livie didn't mind the lines too much. We were fortunate that the crowds weren't real bad.

Livie loved all the rides...

Livie's favorite ride, by far, was Small World. She was so fascinated by all the bright colors, dancing dolls and the music. She would often claps her hands spontaneously during the ride. You can see how pretty it was at night...

Even though we were at Disneyland for 11 hours straight, you can see that she still have plenty of enery at the end of the day. She was just giddy as she told us all about her big day! Not bad for a 9 month old~

We also were able to go to Huntington Beach. Livie's favorite part was chasing the birdies around.

Livie didn't quite know what to do when we tried to get her to stand on the wet sand and in the water. She kept lifting one foot up like Danielson in the Karate Kid!

Livie also loved playing in the sand. Initially she was trying to pick the grains of sand off her hands...but eventually she let loose!

We had a great time in California. We figured it'd be a long time before we'd make it to the west coast again. Hopefully the beaches in Maine are as nice!
