Our Little Model

Olivia is so dang cute! (Of course, we aren't biased!) She is so good at smiling now. It just melts Daddy's heart when he comes home from work or comes home from out of town and she has a big smile for him.

Tonight, we thought that she looked so cute in her little outfit, so we sat her up to take her picture. We couldn't believe that she was smiling for many of her pictures! She is already getting so big and has such a cute little personality that it's hard to believe that she's still not quite 2 months old.

In her new Chariot stroller that Mom got for her birthday so that Mommy and Livie can go jogging together... (Hammy Shan and Aunt Ashwee, thanks for the infant sling so that I can use it even though I am still so little!)

Olivia's Baby Blessing

On Sunday, we had the opportunity to bless our cute little Olivia Jayne. (For those of you who may not be familiar with the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints [aka "the Mormons"], we believe in blessing and formally naming our children when they are infants. We believe this to be similar to the ordinance that took place when the baby Jesus was presented to the Elders at the temple in Jerusalem when he was an infant.) At any rate, Olivia looked so cute in her little white dress.

Olivia is such a good little girl. Over the last several nights, she's been sleeping for 7 hours straight before she wakes up to eat! After she eats gets her diaper changed, she'll go right back to sleep for another 2-3 hours before waking up for the day. We feel very blessed that she likes to sleep!

Abby's parents left on Monday to serve a mission for our church. They will be serving as volunteers in Anchorage, Alaska for the next two years. We are sure going to miss them! Fortunately, we've already booked our tickets to go visit them the end of this summer...and possibly do a little fishing. :)

By the way, the photo is a little misleading... Abby's parents are on the outside edges and my Mom is next to me. We're not quite sure how the positions got mixed up.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Happy Birthday, Abby! Today is her 32nd birthday. For her birthday, she got to go to the dentist! Doesn't that sound like fun?

Olivia and I made her a birthday cake. Olivia was a good little helper... she sat quietly in her swing in the kitchen and watched Daddy make the cake. We were so excited to give it to Mommy and sing to her. We love Mommy very much!

P.S. In the background of the first pic, you can see the jogging wheel that Olivia gave Abby for her birthday. It goes on the jogging/biking/skiing stroller that Abby got for her birthday. Abby is so excited to be able to go running with Olivia! We'll probably wait until next winter to get the ski attachment...we think Olivia is maybe just a little too little to ski right now. :)

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
