"Better Late Than Never..."

Okay, we're only three months late with this post, but we had some great pics from the move that we've wanted to share.

When the moving truck pulled up, we started laughing--we couldn't imagine why on Earth the moving company would have sent a truck so big to move our few belongings from our little house. Two years ago, we moved into the house from a one-bedroom apartment in a matter of hours using only a couple of pickup trucks and a trailer....

Fast forward to the present: Four and a half days after they arrived, the movers barely squeezed the last few pieces of furniture into the trailer! The movers didn't think that they were going to fit everything in...they had the trailer crammed so tightly that it was frightening. How in the world did we accumulate so much "stuff" in such a short time?

Livie thought that the cardboard throughout the house and all the open space for crawling was done just for her entertainment.

She was such a big helper with the move; although, she was a little apprehensive when the movers packed her crib and toys.

Look who we found in one of the boxes when we started unpacking in Maine? Livie thought the boxes and paper were great fun! Abby was amazing--with Hammy Shan's help watching Livie, Abby had nearly the whole house unpacked in three days!

Livie loved exploring the new house. She loves the windows that are built especially for people under 2 1/2 feet tall!

Now that we're all unpacked and settling in to our new home, we love the area. As you can see in the view from our backyard in the photo below, Maine has beautiful scenery (and this is supposedly the "ugly" time of year). We can't wait for summer and fall. We love having visitors and we've got plenty of room, so give us a call if you are coming this way...
